Hosmer House

This building is a fine example of the simple, hipped-roof variant of the American Italianate style, a residential and commercial style popular from 1840 until 1885. Typical of this style, it is a two-story house clad in channel siding with corner boards, a low-pitched, hipped roof, and a wide cornice above decorative, single brackets on an ornamental entablature.
